Trapped so many Brown Recluse….

Sometimes in Baton Rouge we say we have bugs as big as your hand, but the insects I worry about are brown recluse spiders. Much smaller than my hand, but a brown recluse bite can make a mess of a hand just the same.

When I bought a foreclosed house, first thing was to place catchmaster recluse traps in the corner of every room especially in the basement and attic. After 2 weeks, some spider traps were empty but the basement spider traps were packed! Not only with insects, but actually with Brown recluse spiders.

As you can see, any one of brown recluse spider could have bit me or my husband while we were cleaning the house, but now they are trapped, and we can get moved in confident that we are safer now..

I had read another reviewer who was upset that her traps didn’t catch anything. I can say that half of my traps did NOT catch anything, but based on the traps that DID, I assume that there were not spiders in the rooms where nothing was caught, because EVERY trap in the basement had insects.
